Every jar of honey contains the work of thousands of bees. Royal Creamed Honey contains the full spectrum of what those bees produce — honey, royal jelly, propolis, and bee pollen — each one a distinct product of the hive with its own nutritional profile and history of traditional use.

We start with our reserve wildflower creamed honey — the top 30% of our harvest, stone-milled to a silky, semi-solid texture — and enrich it with three of the hive's most prized additions. If you're going to eat honey every day, this is the version that gives you the most the hive has to offer.

What's in it and why it matters

Royal jelly is the exclusive food of the queen bee throughout her entire life — the substance responsible for her longevity and reproductive capability compared to worker bees. It's rich in B vitamins, amino acids, enzymes, and unique fatty acids not found elsewhere in nature. Studies suggest it may support energy levels, immune function, and overall vitality.

Propolis is the hive's natural defense system — a resinous compound bees collect from tree buds and bark to seal and protect the hive from bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Rich in polyphenols and flavonoids, propolis has been used in traditional wellness practices for centuries for its antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.

Bee pollen is one of nature's most complete foods — containing proteins, vitamins A, C, E, and multiple B vitamins, minerals including calcium, magnesium, and potassium, and all essential amino acids. It's been called a nutritional powerhouse by natural health practitioners for decades.

A process most honey producers don't bother with

We take naturally crystallized honey and mill it through a stone mill, reducing it to a silky, semi-solid seed honey — smooth as nut butter, with no graininess. That seed honey is introduced into a fresh batch of liquid reserve wildflower honey, then held at exactly 57°F and stirred slowly at intervals over several days. Once jarred, it rests in temperature-controlled storage at 57°F for several weeks to finish setting.

The only certification that actually means something for U.S. honey

The USDA cannot certify American-produced honey as organic. Bees forage too widely to document. We took a different path — every retail batch is third-party certified Glyphosate Residue Free by the Detox Project, tested and traceable from hive to jar. As far as we can find, we are the only U.S. beekeepers doing this under their own label.

What it tastes like

The reserve wildflower creamed honey base brings buttery floral sweetness. The royal jelly adds a subtle complexity, the propolis a faint earthy depth, and the bee pollen a light, natural sweetness. The overall effect is rich, nuanced, and deeply satisfying — the most complex of our creamed honey line.

How to enjoy it

One spoonful daily straight from the jar is the simplest approach. Also exceptional spread on toast, stirred into tea or warm lemon water, swirled into yogurt, or served on a cheese board. Start your morning with it and notice the difference.

Storage

Keep below 80°F to maintain the creamy texture. Room temperature is fine in most homes. Do not microwave. Note: if you have a known allergy to bee products, consult your healthcare provider before consuming.
