Yes, our body soap bars are gentle enough for daily use. Our formulas cleanse and moisturize your skin without stripping away its natural oils. They are smooth and creamy, and lather well. In fact, daily use is recommended to improve the overall feel and hydration of your skin. Beeswax is a natural humectant attracting and sealing moisture in the skin.
Can I use the soap for my face?
Yes, our natural soaps are a terrific full body and hand soap that works wonderfully to clean and moisturize the face as well. As with any soap, take care when using around the eyes. The peppermint scent does use pure peppermint essential oil and we recommend caution when using it around the eye area.
How long do the soaps last?
The natural soaps are a great balance of soft and smooth with longevity. It is a medium duration soap and lasts the longest if kept up off of any surface that retains water in between uses. The more air flows around the bar, the longer it will last.

What are the benefits of using skin care products made with natural ingredients?
There are countless benefits to choosing skin care products made with natural ingredients. Raw honey, our beeswax and shea butter are nutrient-rich and contain powerful antioxidants that fight free radicals to nourish and moisturize. They have a light scent, don’t sit heavy on the skin and will leave your skin and lips feeling soothed and moisturized.
How does beeswax help the skin?
Beeswax forms a natural barrier on the skin, protecting it from environmental contaminants and irritants. Beeswax enhances skin elasticity and is a natural humectant that attracts and retains moisture in the skin. Beeswax is an amazing substance that is anti-inflammatory, anti-allergenic, germicidal, anti-bacterial, and has antioxidant properties.
How does honey help the skin?
Honey, like beeswax, is a natural humectant that attracts and retains moisture in the skin. It also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which help soothe skin and remove irritation and dryness. Honey has long been used in the treatment of acne and wrinkles; antioxidants help protect the skin from environmental damage and promote a healthy, radiant complexion.
What scent or flavor is recommended for people with exceptionally sensitive skin?
Our Lotion Bars, unscented Natural Soap, and unflavored Natural Lip Balms are great options for those that are nervous about the effects that essential oils and natural scents and flavors might have on their skin. We add a little more raw honey to these products, but have no additional potential source of irritant (though many customers with skin sensitivities find great success with our naturally scented products as well).

Tupelo Honey
What is Tupelo Honey?
Tupelo honey is a rare variety produced by honeybees that collect nectar from the blossoms of the White Tupelo (Nyssa Ogeche) tree. This unique honey is predominantly harvested in and around the Apalachicola and Choctawhatchee River systems in Northwest Florida, although some Tupelo honey can be produced as far north as south Georgia with lower purity.
What Makes Tupelo Honey Unique?
Renowned for its delicious taste, rarity, and resistance to crystallization, pure Tupelo honey boasts a light amber color with a pear-like and delicate aroma. It offers a unique flavor that is smooth and buttery, with a delicate aftertaste like cotton candy that lingers pleasantly. Its high fructose content prevents granulation, making it remain liquid longer than other honey varieties.
How Does Tupelo Honey Benefit Health?
Tupelo honey is celebrated not just for its unique flavor but also for its health benefits. Rich in antioxidants, it supports overall well-being and helps combat oxidative stress. Its low glycemic index makes it a better choice for maintaining stable blood sugar levels. Additionally, Tupelo honey provides essential vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C and calcium, which contribute to a stronger immune system and better bone health.
Where is Tupelo Honey Produced?
The purest Tupelo is produced, and the highest concentration of trees is located along the river systems of Northwest Florida. The wetland habitat in this area is ideal for Tupelo trees to thrive. The honey's production and harvesting during its short bloom in April require precise and labor-intensive beekeeping. If the weather cooperates, the bloom can last from a few short days to around two weeks.
What Types of Tupelo Trees Produce Tupelo Honey?
There are many varieties of Tupelo trees, but Tupelo honey references the honey produced from the White Ogeechee Tupelo tree (Nyssa ogeche).
Why is Tupelo Honey Considered Premium?
Its limited and labor-intensive production, specific regional origins, unique flavor profile, lack of crystallization, and lower glycemic index all contribute to Tupelo honey's premium status. Harvest challenges and environmental threats add to its rarity and desirability among enthusiasts.
How is Tupelo Honey Made?
During April, when the Tupelo trees begin to produce nectar, beekeepers strategically place hives by moving them into specially selected and highly coveted locations in and along the river systems closest to the highest concentration of Tupelo trees. Once the nectar flow is well underway, all honey supers are removed and replaced with empty boxes of comb. The bees bring in the Tupelo and put it in these empty combs.
The beekeeper has to be incredibly diligent in the flow timing, as these boxes must be removed as the Tupelo trees slow down nectar production and other plants begin to produce heavy amounts of nectar that could compete with the Tupelo tree. This protects the purity of the honey, and it is challenging and vital to make good stuff! The harvested honey is then carefully extracted to preserve its natural qualities, with minimal processing to maintain purity.
