FAQS

What is the difference between votive and container candles?

Votive candles are small and meant to melt completely, so they need a holder. Container candles, however, are poured into jars or tins and burn safely inside them.

Why do people light votive candles?

People light votive candles for many reasons—whether it’s to set a peaceful mood, meditate, or as part of a spiritual practice. They often symbolize hope, remembrance, or devotion.

How long should you burn a votive candle?

To avoid tunneling, it’s best to let votive candles burn until the wax melts all the way to the edges. That usually means a few hours of burn time per session.

Great candles for decoration and atmosphere

These candles make great gifts especially for small things. They are just the right size and the tin makes them feel high quality and special. My favorite place to put them is the bathroom and they are also good for camping.
