Tupelo honey happens once a year. When the white tupelo trees bloom along Florida's Apalachicola and Choctawhatchee Rivers each spring, we time our entire harvest around that window. Miss it and you wait another year. We've been doing this from the same northwest Florida land since 2013.

Most honey labeled "pure" is packed by someone who bought it in bulk from a broker. We are the beekeepers. We manage 1,500 colonies, we know every forage location, and we bottle on-farm in glass. What doesn't meet our cleanliness and taste standard gets sold to other brands under their label — not ours.

The only certification that actually means something for U.S. honey

The USDA cannot certify American-produced honey as organic. Bees forage too widely to document — so any U.S. honey claiming organic certification is either misleading or using imported honey with dubious overseas paperwork. We took a different path. Every retail batch we sell is third-party certified Glyphosate Residue Free by the Detox Project — tested, documented, and traceable from hive to jar. As far as we can find, we are the only U.S. beekeepers doing this under their own label.

What it tastes like

Light gold with a faint green tint. Smooth, floral sweetness with cotton candy notes and a soft pear-like finish. No bitterness. No harsh aftertaste. Tupelo's naturally high fructose content means it never crystallizes — no heating required, ever.

How to enjoy it

Straight from the jar is the purest experience. It's also exceptional drizzled over sharp aged cheese, stirred into tea, spooned onto pancakes, or layered into plain yogurt. The floral complexity holds up beautifully in baking too — anywhere you'd use honey, tupelo makes it better.

What's in the jar

  • 100% raw tupelo honey — unpasteurized and unfiltered
  • Certified Glyphosate Residue Free (Detox Project)
  • No added sugar, no additives, no foreign honey — ever
  • 12.5 oz (354g) glass jar, bottled on-farm
  • Northwest Florida · Family farm · Veteran-owned · Made in the USA

FAQS

Does your Tupelo honey crystallize?

Tupelo naturally resists crystallization thanks to its unique sugar profile, so it stays smooth and pourable much longer than most honeys. We have samples of Tupelo that are over 12 years old and still crystal free and pourable!

Is this really tested for glyphosate?

Yes. Every retail batch is sent to an independent lab and must pass glyphosate residue testing before it earns our America’s Cleanest Honey Standard.

Is this honey organic?

There is no meaningful way to certify U.S. honey as organic because bees forage wherever they choose. Instead, we focus on what we can control: careful hive placement, clean forage, and lab testing for glyphosate and pesticides.
